Letters of Recommendation

Letter of Recommendation (LoR) - Guidelines

You may request a Letter of Recommendation (LoR) if both of the following conditions are met:

• Your grade point average is 3.0 or better.
• You succesfully completed at least one course at the Chair of Public Economics with a grade of 2.3 or better.

Required documents (to be sent via email to sabine.wolf@ovgu.de):

• Short CV
• Grade transcript
• List of succesfully completed courses at the Chair of Public Economics (incl. grades)
• Deadline for the LoR
• Purpose of the LoR
• Any specific information or requirements for writing the LoR (please attach relevant websites, forms, etc.)

Important notes:

• We generally write LoR only for academic purposes (e.g. admission for academic programs) and internships related to your field of study.
• Letters of Recommendation can be written in either German orEnglish.
